Institutional membership with IACHTP provides the following benefits:
- Certificate of Institutional Membership in IACHTP with three years duration.
- Certificate of Membership for the official organization representative.
- Reduced registration fee on IACHTP conferences and continuing professional development programs.
- Use/display of company logo of the institution on IACHTP website.
- Provision of name and logo usage of IACHTP to official documents of the institution.
- Provision to request for assistance from IACHTP in conducting action research/case study in their establishment.
Membership Renewal
Section 1: Renewal of Membership. To access the form for renewing the membership, they may refer to a link provided by the IACHTP. The IACHTP- membership year covers from January to December, and the annual renewal period will begin at year 2023. People who qualify for renewal will be advised by the CPCM.
Section 2: The following are requirements for Renewal of Professional Membership:
Accomplished Professional Membership Form
- Scanned Clear Copy of Professional Membership Certificate issued by CPCM, bearing the Lifetime Membership Number.
- Must have earned a total of twenty (20) continuing professional development (CPD) units through tourism and hospitality trainings, seminars, and activities facilitated by IACHTP within one (1) year of being a member, as established standard by the CPCM commissioners and duly validated by the CCPE commissioners.
- Proof of settled payment for membership renewal.
- Duly signed subscription to the IACHTP’s Membership Code of Ethics.
Section 3: The following are requirements for Renewal of Associate Membership:
Accomplished Associate Membership Form
- Scanned Clear Copy of Associate Membership Certificate issued by CPCM, bearing the Lifetime Membership Number.
- Must have earned a total of twenty (20) continuing professional development (CPD) units through tourism and hospitality trainings, seminars, and activities facilitated by IACHTP within one (1) year of being a member, as established standard by the CPCM commissioners and duly validated by the CCPE commissioners.
- Proof of settled payment for membership renewal.
- Duly signed subscription to the IACHTP’s Membership Code of Ethics.
Section 4: Fees paid for initial membership will be the same for renewal.
Loss of Membership
Section 1: Policies on loss/ termination of membership. Loss or termination of membership shall be in accordance with the rules and regulation of the IACHTP. Loss or termination of membership is possible in one of the following ways:
4.1. Resignation of one’s own free will;
4.2. Termination by a decision of the Executive Committee of two-thirds (2/3) following any of the following factors without due process:
4.2.a. Failure to pay the yearly membership fee.
4.2.b. Extremely unethical or illicit conduct that is detrimental to violations of the IACHTP goals or objectives compliance with the Association’s code of ethics the Executive Committee adopted it.
4.2.c. Violation of the By-Laws and Constitution of the IACHTP;
4.2.d. IACHTP Executive Committee refusal to renew or cancel the membership endorsed and validated by the Commission for Continuing Professional Education (CCPE).
